What's the off-the-cuff processing power of a SparcStation 5 versus
a Pentium/100?

Depends upon which SS5 you are talking about. I get 84 bogomips on
mine.

Send me whichever programs you want me to run to get Linux numbers on
the Sparc/SS5 to get an idea (SunOS binaries are fine, SparcLinux runs
them without problems).
