I would like to apologize for the flames I made in response the make
and procps problems. I really shouldn't have acted that way.
FYI, for those just joining us, make can be fixed by reading the
release notes for libc 5.2.18. The ps floating point exception problem
can be solved by upgrading to procps 0.99a, found at
ftp://sunsite.unc.edu/pub/Linux/system/Status/ps .
Again, sorry for the bad vibes.
