First of all "Unrecognized device ID" could be improved by specifying
the ID ("%x" or similar). Secondly playing with OS/2 Warp, I've found
out that enabling suspend mode also blanks my NUTEC/VESA compatible
monitor. Therefore I suggest that the APM BIOS can tell my graphics
card to suspend (my graphics card in turn can tell my monitor).

Unfortunately I don't know how OS/2 works internally.
