First I would like to thank all who responded to my mail about the old
EtherExpress driver.
Unfortunately the new driver is not OK.
It works when I compile it into the kernel. I didn't test it properly yet.
But when I compile it as a module, it doesn't work.
When ifconfig is started it says something like:
SCxxADDxx not found or something like that. I forgot what it excactly said.
It were three or four lines. They disappear when I compile the driver into
the kernel.
I think (and hope) it can be fixed quite easely.
Thanks to all who worked on it, it is already a _LOT_ better than that old
sucking driver, so please go on developing that driver !!!
