I guess by headers that this message was supposed to be cc:d to list but
was not, so I'm forwarding...

Update on my behalf: Uptime nearing 48 hours and still "only" 20Mb in use
excluding buffers. So far I haven't seen any other replies except for
this one directly addressed to me, so I'm starting to get worried if my
subscription doesn't work...however I shouldn't be able to post on the
list in the first place if I'm not a member...

I usually don't post to the list, but I think I must on this occassion --
I, too, have experienced this memory leak -- but it was after I upgraded
from 1.2.13 to 1.3.58 .. Perhaps somewhere in between 1.3.57 and 1.3.58
something went awry.... This is a potentially serious problem, as the
machine had 16M of ram and only 100k was free - no user processes were
running, only daemons (not excessive, either).

The ethernet cards in this machine is a 3c509 and a WaveLAN card.
It's a P5-100, 16Mb, 1Gb IDE Disk, Triton chipset/controller (PIIX).
