Just curious, I've seen machines that have something called 'Rapid
Resume'... if it is enabled, the software gets some sort of shutdown signal
when the power-button is hit. If it does not respond within 18 seconds, the
computer just shuts off, otherwise, it waits for the software to power-off
the computer. Does Linux do this?
