Notice the userlist below

edunet:~/shadow-960129# w
10:44am up 15:21, 7 users, load average: 0.00, 0.06, 0.09
User tty login@ idle JCPU PCPU what
ppptest ttyS0 9:36am 1:07 -
pope ttyp0 9:23am -
sl ttyp1 9:47am -
pope ttyp1 10:44am -
me ttyp2 9:57am -
pope ttyp2 10:41am -
pope ttyp3 10:41am -

As you can see, ttyp1 and ttyp2 are both allocated twice.
If I do a talk sl, I am told he is no longer logged in, which in fact is
the same result 'last' gives.

sl ttyp1 ppp0 Tue Mar 5 09:47 - 09:53 (00:06)
sl ttyp1 ppp0 Tue Mar 5 09:38 - 09:47 (00:09)

and for 'me'

me ttyp2 130.225.1.224 Tue Mar 5 09:57 - 10:41 (00:43)

I am not sure where w gets its info, but either w and friends or the kernel
is buggy.
