UDP short packet errors are still around, and the SMP code crashed on me
within about an hour. The HDs were being used much more than usual, and
the system load was about the same (maybe a little lower) with two P100's
as it was with one. I have an Adaptec 2940 and the kernel crashed hard
with some SCSI errors when it went down... motherboard is Micronics.
Network card is AMD Lance based.

Is there a util that collects information about your kernel and produces a
stat sheet that can be sent in as a bug report? I would think something
like that would be very useful to developers.
