Problems with 486slc?

Is anyone aware of any problems on a 486SLC? I get persistent CRC errors
on any uncompression, and the kernel refuses to compile. My system is an
Ambra 486SLC2-50 with 10M of memory and a 387 co-processor, running Red
Hat Linux 2.1 with Kernel 1.2.13 as follows:
