I'm having problems...
Durring daily backups (to tape), my system locks solid. It locks so
solid that the screen saver won't turn off and I can't ping my machine.
The Hard Disk's light remains on. The only solution is reset.
This is bad, as this is an unattended box.
What information do you need to know? Here's some background:

According to my load-meter, the system is under low to moderate load
before lock ups.
