1) Performance:
Can we get more performance out of networking?
What other performance bottlenecks exist?
What is being planned to resolve these issues?

The performance of the TCP code rivals if not clearly beats
"production OS's" even on the same hardware. Of course, the is always
room for improvement always ;-)

4) New/expanded/updated hardware drivers

One of the things I can't wait to happen is the cleanup of the
drivers/ tree such that multi-bus/multi-arch really works and
integrates seamlessly into the same kernel tree. Maintaining my Sparc
drivers seperately has become a real pain over time.

4) Other
BSD ffs?

The SparcLinux project has a UFS implementation that is near
completion and is written very cleanly.
