Mismatched read page pointers.

Hi there, for some time now (at least 3 months), I have been receiving
the message "kernel: eth0: mismatched read page pointers 6 vs f.", "..
6 vs 37.", etc.. Once receiving this message, the machine will either
crash, or will no longer accept any ethernet messages (ie, normal tcp/ip
traffic, eg. telnet).
I am running a Intel 486dx4-100 with 16meg of ram, and a WD80x3 at
0x300 and IRQ 10. I've tried almost every kernel version from 1.3.12 ->
1.3.63 with no resolution to this problem. The kernel is running wd.c
v1.10 9/23/94 Donald Becker.
I have thought of purchasing a different ethernet card (ie NExxxx), to
avoid the possible driver problem, although it is a relatively expensive
test exercise and I would like to know of any possible alternatives.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Clint McIntyre
