All,

Interesting. I noticed the same problems with TCP, although the "Aiee .."
on telnet to localhost problem went away. Sure enough, when I put up
1.3 65, the network got much sounder. I can now ftp large files
again. HOWEVER: I have had three total lockups for the first time ever
with Linux. Tsk!

I had a DASD partition screwed up the first time. Since then, I have
lost several inodes when the system locked up tight.

Has anyone else seen these symptoms?

Regards,
