There is no progress indicator for *compressed* ramdisk images. The
progress indicator you refer to in your mail is only for *uncompressed*
ramdisk images.
The compressed ramdisk images use crd_load() to load the compressed
images, and then skips over the code that handles the uncompressed ones.
