Is this the same as the Elf-HOWTO? If not, take a look at it first. I=20
also had a Slackware 2.2 (I think.. A year-old slackware anyway), and I=

followed almost exactly the elf-HOWTO without problems (I just grabbed=20
more recent versions of the files required). One thing the elf-HOWTO do=

not mention is anything about X, because I believe it was written befor=
e=20
XFree3.1.2 was release. I had to figure out (am I right) that I needed =
to=20
install the XFree3.1.2 Elf libs and binaries in order to compile and us=
e X11=20
elf programs.
