is this common knowledge?:

pc5829:~$ vmstat
procs memory swap io system cpu
r b w swpd free buff si so bi bo in cs us sy id
vmstat.c:215: failed assertion `*itot>*i1'
IOT trap/Abort

For referrence, this occurs in 1.3.59 also. Vmstat works when run by
itself:

# vmstat
procs memory swap io system cpu
r b w swpd free buff si so bi bo in cs us sy id
0 3 0 3145726 1049105 3145726 0 0 0 0 0 0 14 11 75
#

But when run with a repeat count:

# vmstat 5
procs memory swap io system cpu
r b w swpd free buff si so bi bo in cs us sy id
0 2 0 3145726 1049105 3145726 0 0 0 0 0 0 14 11 75
vmstat.c:215: failed assertion `*itot>*i1'
Abort
