If I configure it to use a 16 bit DMA channel (5, 6, or 7), it says
device busy or not available whenever I try to access /dev/dsp or
/dev/audio, and I get a syslog message that that DMA is already
allocated. I do a cat /proc/dma, and none of 5, 6, or 7 are
listed. This used to work for me at some time, I was just wondering if
it's my system or other people have seen this.
