If data integrity is your concern, you wouldn't want to use striping
without data redundancy anyway, under no circumstances.
Indeed. They provide mirroring too with up to eight copies, I believe.
One can even configure a system where everything has two copies, but certain
areas that are accessed frequently have multiple copies.
