the -5 nice was easy to fix. but whats the fix for memory?

PID USER PRI NI SIZE RES SHRD STAT %CPU %MEM TIME COMMAND
1 root 21 0 131132 68 52 S 0.0 0.1 0:17 init [5]
89 root 21 0 131477 56 32 S 0.0 0.1 0:00 -bash
90 root 21 0 131124 8 8 S 0.0 0.0 0:00 (agetty)
25 root 21 0 131132 224 132 S 0.0 0.4 0:00 crond -l10
6 root 21 0 131104 80 80 S 0.0 0.1 0:00 (update)

size, res, and shrd are all screwed, comparabled to another machines
running different kernels. thats from top, but PS -aux gives the same
thing.
