ATAPI CD

I put an ATAPI CD-ROM player in my system to use while my SCSI CD-ROM is being
repaired. I noticed that XMcd is no longer picking up my CDs from its CD
database. I presume this means its getting a different value for the
tracks/timings/etc than it was getting from the NEC SCSI drive.

Would this be a function of the ide-cd driver, or maybe just of the different
drive?
