1.3.11 Kernel Crashes

As I reported in a previous message, I had been having hard system
crashes while attempting to backup my system. I made some changes in my
AHA2940 controller config, ie I disabled disconnection for all devices,
and did succesfully get through the backup. However I then ran X and ran
Seyon for a dialout, and upon exit from X, the system froze again. I
feel this may be pointing to 1) Disconnect/Reconnect code problem in
AIC7xxx code, and possibly a memory leak (Just a gut feeling) somewhere
in the kernel.
