1.3.9 -- Insidious IDE

I just grabbed the 1.3.9 sources (full -- they weren't much bigger
than the monster patch anyway =) ), and when I was compiling it, it
got an error about "ide_xlate_1024" not being defined, and being
referenced from genhd.o (linux/drivers/block/genhd.c).

I run an all-SCSI system, so I didn't compile in any of the IDE stuff,
although, it appears that the code for the DOS partitions in genhd.c
requires it. I got around it by adding ide.c to the sources (and
objects) for block.a, but I have yet to reboot it and see if it
actually works. Is there a dependency problem here, or am I going to
be in big trouble if I don't configure for IDE and try to do DOS
things?

Mike
(who just starting playing with dlopen() et al. Very cool... I can
understand the push to ELF much better now. =) )
