I just noticed while compiling 1.3.9 that 'make' failed in ~/drivers/sound
since the dependencies are stuffed - ie left over from previous version
'make dep' (this only applies to people who name their Linux source tree
according to the version).
The Makefile in ~/drivers needs to have 'sound' added in ALL_SUBDIRS.
