after 8 days uptime I had a strange lockup with 1.2.9. It was in X so
it appars to be totally frozen - but it does respond to pings.
It respons to telnet connections as well, but no login banner appears -
it just sits here after the "Escape character ..." message. This looks
like an infinite loop somewhere in the kernel, with interrupts enabled.
Below is the "dmesg" output (actually from 1.2.10, but the hardware
config didn't change, and I can't find any things which could affect
this in the 1.2.9 -> 1.2.10 patch).
There was a bug like this in late 1.1.x kernels and IPC - maybe there is
still one more somewhere?
