I would have had it named as "fpe_csr" - short and well readable
especially seeing CSR is a well known abbreviation for Control and
Status register, which the MAC_FPE_CTRL_STS register actually is.

* Note one more time: current FPE handshaking implementation is vastly
clumsy, needlessly overcomplicated and prone to races. I would have
seriously considered having it refactored.
