Hi Jones,

Great news! My patch is finally on lore. Now I can track its progress.
It's been quite a journey.

The EIOIS200 is a custom EC for Advantech, originally designed the
Power Management Channel (PMC) only for power management. We extended
it to control all devices on the EC. This EC is a quite slow MCU, but
still monitors crucial parameters like voltage, temperature, and smart
fan, the PMC commands has varying response times, but it has proved
highly stable in industrial usage.

So, we recommend not loading the modules if the users doesn't intend to
use these devices. Load these modules only before accessing the devices.
This is why we've designed it to be compiled as a module by default and
cannot be built-in.

I've made modifications based on your suggestions. Please point out any
further errors. Thank you.

If an error occurs, it won't retrieve the correct content.
Which can result in a failed initialization.
This was tested locally, and it made the probe procedure stop.

Yes, I believe this information is helpful.
But, I hope this error message will never be shown on production release.

PMC commands should always succeed,
and their failure indicates a significant issue that requires attention.
The most common reason for failure is insufficient timeout value,
but it could also signify more severe underlying problems.
