I got a little further, left with "__ATOMIC_RELAXED undeclared", "__ATOMIC_SEQ_CST
undeclared" under gcc 4.4.7-16.

gcc 4.8.2-15 leaves me with "undefined reference to `clock_gettime'"

What compiler version do you recommend?
