While compiling linux, dash shell reports a bash-ism:

/src/linux-4.0/arch/x86/kernel/cpu/mkcapflags.sh: 9: /src/linux-4.0/arch/x86/kernel/cpu/mkcapflags.sh: Syntax error: "(" unexpected
