Perhaps:
if (in_interrupt() ||
acpi_get_name(handle, ACPI_FULL_PATHNAME, &buffer) != AE_OK)
path = "<n/a>";
else
path = buffer.pointer;

so that any interrupt context still works, just
not printing the correct acpi_get_name;
