Have you try one or all of the below?

/sbin/ethtool -K eth0 tx off
/sbin/ethtool -K eth0 rx off
/sbin/ethtool -K eth0 gso off
/sbin/ethtool -K eth0 tso off

Assuming eth0 is your interface.
