Maybe all of these should be KERN_ERR.

You could use:

#define pr_fmt(fmt) KBUILD_MODNAME " WATCHDOG: " fmt

and convert the printk(KERN_<level> "WATCHDOG: " etc...)
to pr_<level>(etc...)
