Hmm, I misparsed that.

Yes, we have some helpers for sysfs writing... 	SEQ_printf(), IIRC.

Is this even valid C?

ret += sprintf(buf, "%s %x\t", buf, reg);

You are printing into buffer you are passing as argument. That seems
fragile.
