It looks like.. hvsi.c:

if (tty_register_driver(hvsi_driver))
panic("Couldn't register hvsi console driver\n");

I added printk() in all failure cases in tty_register_driver()
and I can't reproduce the problem.

Machine tries to boot and goes further and hangs. I saw similar
hang with RSDL earlier.
