Here's another one for your consideration.

USB_APPLEDISPLAY selects BACKLIGHT_LCD_SUPPORT & BACKLIGHT_CLASS_DEVICE;
drivers/backlight/Kconfig depends on SYSFS (but SYSFS=n)
