bind() to zero and then subscribe can work.

With the latest 2.6 git tree I get following:

w1_netlink_send: cn_netlink_send() returned -3.

when there are no users.

Can you check if there is
return netlink_broadcast(); string in the cn_netlink_send() in your
tree?
