[patch] more SPIN_LOCK_UNLOCKED -> DEFINE_SPINLOCK conversions

this converts the final 20 DEFINE_SPINLOCK holdouts. (another 580 places
are already using DEFINE_SPINLOCK). Build tested on x86.
