I don't actually get any beeps either, but mine works. One of the first
things I did when I got this laptop was to "fix" those irqs. I have mine
set to:

A INT - 10
B INT - 5
C INT - 9
D INT - 4
E INT - 11
F INT - 6
G INT - 4
H INT - 11
