PROBLEM: kernel oops (unable to handle paging request)

From: Samuel Mimram
Date: Mon Apr 05 2004 - 14:10:21 EST

[1.] One line summary of the problem: the kernel oopsed because it was
unable to handle a paging request because of sh.

[2.] Full description of the problem/report: the kernel oopsed because
it was unable to handle a paging request because of sh. This is the
second time we're facing this problem. Its main consequence is that we
aren't able anymore to log on the computer.

[3.] Keywords (i.e., modules, networking, kernel): kernel.

[4.] Kernel version (from /proc/version):

Linux version 2.6.3-sci (smimram@sci1) (gcc version 3.3.3 20040125
(prerelease) (Debian)) #1 SMP Sat Feb 28 17:52:43 CET 2004

[5.] Output of Oops.. message (if applicable) with symbolic information
resolved (see Documentation/oops-tracing.txt)
