Hi there. I just compile the kernel 2.6.0 version. However, there is not any /lib/modules/2.6.0-test4/modules.dep created. When I type "depmod -a", there is an error message said "depmod: QM_MODULES: Function not implemented".
Also, when I type the "make modules_install", the output is:
[root@localhost linux-2.6.0-test4]# make modules_install
INSTALL drivers/media/video/bw-qcam.ko
INSTALL drivers/media/video/cpia.ko
INSTALL drivers/media/video/cpia_usb.ko

if [ -r System.map ]; then /sbin/depmod -ae -F System.map 2.6.0-test4; fi.
After I configure the modules, I type "make bzImage", then "make modules", "make modules_install", and "depmod -a". I copied the bzImage to vmlinuz and the System.map to /boot.
Is there anything I did wrong?
Thanks very much.
