[2.6.0-test1][PCMCIA] Hard lockup when card inserted

Hi,

My Acer Aspire 1300, with 2.6.0-test1, crashes hard when a pcmcia card
is inserted. ( screen blanks / stripes appear and fan spins-up ) ( no
serial port built in so no debugging there! )

It works fine with the pcmcia drivers included in the 2.4.21 kernel, but
not with the standalone 3.2.4 drivers (same problem).

Thanks for looking at it, I am willing to carryout tasks etc.

( shall I binary search the 2.5 series or were the pcmcia drivers merged
in one go ? )

cardmgr (re)starting:
# /etc/init.d/pcmcia restart
 * Stopping pcmcia... [ ok ]
* Starting pcmcia...
cardmgr[2174]: watching 1 sockets [ ok ]

( which is the correct # of sockets )
