Access to filesystem specific attr accross xattr calls

I write a little patch that enable read write access
to msdos filesystem flags ( hidden ,system,archived).
I think it s a good idea but I need your opinion.

+
  - PAX system will restore ( save) this attr.
  - enable access to filesystem spec without ugly
iotcl (like ext2)
  -universal userspace access

-

  - kernel grow
  - user don't need this.

I don't write this to FAT maintener because I think it
s more general ( for instance in ext2fs for immutable
flag)
