Loadlin and big kernels

Hi,

I used to load Linux from small DOS partition with loadlin.
This weekend I compiled large kernel with lots of stuff
and got warning "kernel is too big to boot from diskette"
I thought that does not apply for loadlin.

Guess what - it does not boot with loadlin too!
Is loadlin 1.6a broken? Is there a newer version?

Please CC me. I'm not on the list
