It looks like you will need:

* kernel source
  http://www.??.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v2.2/...
* Andre's IDE patch
  http://www.??.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/people/hedrick/...
* Ingo's RAID patch
  http://people.redhat.com/mingo/raid-patches/...
* raidtools version 0.90 or above
  http://http.??.debian.org/debian/dists/unstable/main/source/admin/raidtools2_0.90.990824.orig.tar.gz

[In the above ?? stands for a country code near you]

Apply the patches, read the raidtools docs, and go from there.
