It is supposedly on the way to be fixed, if it isn't already done.
I'm not completely positive it is in the requirements of gcc 3.0, but
I think it is. It is already fixed for C++.
Keywords to look for in the gcc MLs: tree-based inlining,
function-at-a-time parsing.
