Hi

It looks a bit error in memory or from/to disk.

eris kernel becomes eras kerfed: 'i' is 01101001, 'a' is 01100001
'n' is 01101110, 'f' is 01100110, 'l' is 01101100, 'd' is 01100100

all errors are in bit 3.................
