GA-6BX7 has long delay before LILO prompt

I am curious if anyone has had experience with Gigabyte GA-6BX7
motherboards having a long delay (30-40 seconds) before showing LILO
prompt? The delay occurs if the boot order is anything other than hard
drive "C" starting first.
