Red Hat 6.2, quite hacked, on a SS4 (sun4m); kgcc-1.1.2-39 built myself
from RH 7.0beta sources (in essence, egcs-1.1.2).

kgcc -D__KERNEL__ -I/usr/src/linux-2.4.0-test/include -Wall -Wstrict-prototypes -O2 -fomit-frame-pointer -m32 -pipe -mno-fpu -fcall-used-g5 -fcall-used-g7 -fno-strict-aliasing -c -o init.o init.c
init.c: In function `kmap_init':
init.c:92: warning: unused variable `pteval'
init.c: In function `mem_init':
init.c:460: `highmem_mapnr' undeclared (first use in this function)
init.c:460: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once
init.c:460: for each function it appears in.)
init.c: In function `flush_page_to_ram':
init.c:588: warning: passing arg 1 of `___f___flush_page_to_ram' makes integer from pointer without a cast
make[2]: *** [init.o] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux-2.4.0-test/arch/sparc/mm'
