lost interrupt in 2.4.0-test6pre1

Hi. I have 3 ide drives and one cd rom connected to my computer (500
MHZ) and the Via chip set.

In kernel 2.2.16 all is well, but in 2.4.0-test6pre1 I get lost
interrupt messages and the system won't read the particular drive.

Here is an excerpt from the 2.2.16 boot log and then one from the
