Hi,

PCMCIA is broken in linux-2.4.0-test5 because the yenta and pci_socket
modules have a mutual dependency problem:

  root@arthur:~ #insmod pcmcia_core
  Using /lib/modules/2.4.0-test5/pcmcia/pcmcia_core.o
  root@arthur:~ #insmod pci_socket
  Using /lib/modules/2.4.0-test5/pcmcia/pci_socket.o
  /lib/modules/2.4.0-test5/pcmcia/pci_socket.o: unresolved symbol yenta_operations_Re8fcb4ba
  root@arthur:~ #insmod yenta
  Using /lib/modules/2.4.0-test5/pcmcia/yenta.o
  /lib/modules/2.4.0-test5/pcmcia/yenta.o: unresolved symbol cardbus_register

Everything worked fine with linux-2.4.0-test5-pre3.

Hardware: ASUS P6300 notebook, mobile PII 266, 80MB.
Software: SuSE linux 6.4.

Erik
