make clean/dep/archdep problem

Hi!

For Alpha systems, there's a linker script problem:

"make dep clean boot modules" creates the linker script (through
precompiler) at the 'dep' target, but deletes vmlinux.lds during
'clean'. That way, 'boot' failes to build the kernel image because
of the missing linker script;)

What's the best solution for this (except doing the kernel build
with "make dep clean archdep boot modules";) ?
